Amazon has announced a 7% wage increase for its delivery drivers, raising their pay to approximately $22 per hour. This increase is part of a larger $660 million investment aimed at supporting its Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) and improving driver retention. The company is also investing $2.1 billion in its DSP program over the next year, which includes initiatives to improve safety and driver access to earned wages before payday. This move comes amid growing unionization efforts among Amazon's delivery workforce.
