Apple expands production in India

Apple has begun mass-producing the new iPhone lineup, including the Pro series, in India just days after starting to manufacture the high-end handsets in China. This underscores Apple’s push to build up supply chains outside Asia's biggest economy. These devices are not only for the Indian market, but are also exported, mainly to the US. Beyond Apple’s drive to mitigate geopolitical uncertainty, the move also reflects the technological progress India's supply network has achieved in recent years.
