Cathay Pacific inspects its entire fleet
Cathay Pacific has grounded its entire fleet of 48 Airbus A350 aircraft for inspections following an in-flight engine failure. The airline identified 15 planes with defective components, specifically linked to a Rolls-Royce engine issue. Flights to various destinations have been canceled, and other airlines with A350s are monitoring the situation but have not halted operations yet. The incident raises concerns about the safety of the A350 fleet globally, as this is the first known failure of its kind.
